2021 Truck of the Year Competition, Brought to You by Isuzu

If 2021 didn’t start off quite like you were expecting… at least Isuzu’s Truck of the Year Competition remains a constant, celebrating all things truck, great and small. The time-honoured tradition of crowning the King of the Isuzus harks back to Isuzu Australia Limited’s very first Truck of the Year Competition in 1996. A year like no other, 1996 saw the launch of the world’s first DVD player—undoubtedly a historic moment with blockbuster titles like Twister and Independence Day also released this year. In the trucking world, Isuzu’s “FV Turbo” Series made waves featuring 1,000 Nm of torque and 199 kW of power, a benchmark for Japanese trucks at the time. Fast forward 25 years to the truck that took home last year’s Grand Prize and any nostalgia you’re currently feeling should be relieved.

How to enter Here’s the low-down on how the Truck of the Year Competition works. Head over to the Isuzu Trucks website and complete the entry form here (and make sure to read our updated Terms and Conditions). A Monthly winner is selected each month from this pool of entries between February and November 2021, and published on the Isuzu Content Hub and Isuzu Australia's Facebook page. These 10 Monthly winners go into the draw for the 2021 Series Prizes, depending on the model of the Isuzu truck (N Series, F Series, FX/FY Series and Giga Series). After 20^th November, 2021 (entry close) one of these 10 Monthly winners will be chosen by an expert panel of Isuzu judges as the winner for the Grand Prize—a $6,000 Visa gift card and the coveted title of Truck of the Year. And after all this… you still have another opportunity to win! A selection of the best entries from the year (selected by the judging panel) will also go in the draw for a $1,000 Visa gift card for The People’s Choice Prize.
