It’s been an exciting month with heaps to celebrate including gripping matches for the Matildas in the World Cup and a thrilling Grand Final win for our Melbourne Mustangs ice hockey team.
Our Truck of the Year competition has also been delivering the goods with fantastic entries from tradie’s trucks to recreational rigs, big movers and more.

In August we celebrate Andy Smith and Dynamic Hydro Excavations with their FVZ 240-300! Dynamic Hydro Excavations are now in the running to be crowned King of the F Series.
CONGRATULATIONS TO DYNAMIC HYDRO EXCAVATIONS
DYNAMIC HYDRO EXCAVATIONS
“We have been operating Isuzu trucks for 20 years at Dynamic Hydro Excavations, so we’ve wrapped our new FVZ 240-300 to suit this theme,” said Andy Smith.
Based out of the Gold Coast in Queensland with multiple hubs across the country Dynamic Hydro Excavations has seen great growth thanks to their slick range of vacuum trucks and expert hydro excavation techniques.
“I have since added another five Isuzu Trucks to my fleet this year, making the fleet almost all Isuzu trucks Australia-wide,” Andy explained.
WESTERN TILT TRAY SERVICE
Sharna Smith based in Dubbo New South Wales, has entered this impressive FVZ 240-300 used for their business, Western Tilt Tray Service.
“We go with Isuzu Trucks because they are an all-rounder reliable truck,” said Sharna.
“Plus, Isuzu trucks just look great!”
JAMES BURNELL
James Burnell is proud as punch of his dad’s NPR 45-155 SWB Tradepack.
“I’m entering my dad's truck which he purchased to tow his caravan - he had weight issues with his old dual cab ute,” said James.
“Now he can carry almost whatever he wants. It’s fitted with a canopy and a custom passenger Stratos air seat... he is very proud of his NPR.”
We can see why James’ dad made the upgrade because this NPR Tradepack is looking like a mighty fine set up for road trip adventures.
STOP SLOW TRAFFIC CONTROL
This hot pink Isuzu number sure stands out from the crowd while hard at work for Stop Slow Traffic Control.
Lisa Murphy from New South Wales wanted to show off the best features of the NLR 45-150 SWB Traypack while adding a few extras to make a real eye-catcher on the road.
“The custom wrap and lighting package are my favourite aspects of my truck,” said Lisa.
UNDER PRESSURE PLUMBING & GAS
“Our truck is special to us at Under Pressure Plumbing & Gas because we believe it out-performs all the competitors,” said Matthew.
Working out of Perth in Western Australia, Matthew Walsh from Under Pressure Gas & Plumbing has entered the service tradie’s best friend—an NPR 45-155 SWB Servicepack with a stylish all over wrap.
“Not only does it fit in a standard car bay, but it’s also more manoeuvrable than a dual cab ute and not much longer either.”
HAMMOND HOMES WA
Based out of Mandurah in Western Australia, James Hammond is the owner-operator of Hammond Homes WA and has entered his hard-working NPR 45-155 AMT MWB Tradepack.
“My NPR 45-155 Tradepack has the limited-edition paint and is one out of just two trucks in Australia built for Isuzu Truck’s 50th anniversary,” said James.
The Tradepack is perfect for builders, plumbers, electricians, and tradies of all flavours, making it the ideal companion on the road and on the job site.
