Australian Isuzu owners are champing at the bit to sing the praises of their trucks, as August sees another deluge of entries for our Truck of the Year competition.  It’s not hard to see why too – in every corner of the country, Isuzu owners are using their trucks to service every application under the sun and do the jobs that keep the country running smoothly. This month the Truck of the Year shortlist shines a light on some of the outstanding Isuzu workhorses that business owners turn to time and again when they need a rugged, reliable truck. If you think your Isuzu deserves a run in the competition, you can visit http://isuzu.com.au/news-media/truck-of-the-year between now and the end of November, attach a photo (at least 1MB in size) of your beautiful machine and fill out the webform. From the monthly shortlists, two winners will each receive a $250 Isuzu merchandise pack of their choice and go into the running for the $6,000 grand prize for 2017. And no one leaves empty handed. Every single Truck of the Year entry* also receives an Isuzu mug. Congratulations to KENYA TEA BAGS and ENHANCED PLUMBING & GAS on being selected as the two monthly winners for August 2017.

ENHANCED PLUMBING & GAS

When he’s navigating the inner and outer suburbs of Canberra, Andrew McLean of Enhanced Plumbing & Gas loads up everything he needs for a day’s job into his Isuzu NPR 45-150 Tradepack. Andrew says the fact the truck can “carry all his important equipment at once” makes it an absolute winner.

KENYA TEA BAGS PTY LTD

Deep Shah is living the dream in his Isuzu FRR 600 Long Premium AMT. He gets to travel all over Australia with a truck full of nachos and hot chips, visiting music festivals and food truck parks all around the country. And there isn’t any other truck he’d rather be travelling in.

JOHN McPHERSON

John McPherson has turned his Isuzu NLR 45-150 Traypack into a holiday home on wheels. It’s an eye-catching machine, and John says he gets “so many compliments from people at camping sites and service stations.”

SUK TRUCK SERVICES

The vacuum excavator Shane Nicholson lugs around Sydney’s suburbs is a serious piece of equipment. Thankfully Shane can always rely on the grunt of his Isuzu FVD 1000 to get him to the next job site.

EMERSON GROUP PTY LTD

When he’s hauling vehicles over Queensland from his base in Caboolture, Doug Emerson is proud to have his Isuzu FRR 600 representing his business. Doug says the truck is like an extension of himself and his number one pick when it’s time to get the job done.

PRESTIGE TRUCK DETAILING

Adam Smith says his Isuzu NNR 200 is “the best truck in Mt. Gambier”, and he should know, he details trucks for a living. When your business’ selling point is good looking trucks, and your customer base is proud truckers, you need a “good looking workhorse”, just like Adam’s.
Reliability redefined.

The all-new range of Isuzu trucks has arrived. With a sleek new cab design, more advanced safety features and a smoother, more comfortable drive, the new range will change the way we rely on our trucks. Forever.
