Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) – Australia’s truck market leader – has announced the appointment of Daniel Ciantar as its new Fleet Sales Manager (Victoria and Tasmania). Mr Ciantar moves into the role after serving in a Fleet Planning & Support role within the company, where he handled client relations, as well as supplier and account management. Mr Ciantar said he was thrilled to be taking on the Fleet Sales Manager (Victoria and Tasmania) position. “I’m absolutely rapt with this role,” Mr Ciantar said. “Since taking it up in June I’ve already had the chance to interact with several prominent fleet managers in Victoria and Tasmania and to discuss what they’re looking for from a truck brand. “I’ve also been able to demonstrate to them how the reliable, fit-for-purpose engineering that Isuzu packs into every truck can help businesses to grow.” The Fleet Sales Manager (Victoria and Tasmania) role marks the latest advancement in Mr Ciantar’s nine-year career with IAL. “Having been with IAL since 2008, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what models can deliver the best results in specific applications. “I’m very excited to be able to use this knowledge to help fleet managers put their drivers in an Isuzu truck that will maximise their efficiency when they’re out on the road.” IAL National Sales Manager, Les Spaltman, said he was pleased someone as capable as Mr Ciantar could take on the role. “Daniel’s enthusiasm for the Isuzu brand, as well as his incredible product knowledge, will be tremendous assets as he takes on this regional Fleet Sales Manager role,” Mr Spaltman said. “Right across the Isuzu team, we prioritise the customer above all else. Throughout his entire tenure at IAL, Daniel has demonstrated a commitment to relationship building that will stand him in good stead in this new position.” As IAL sits at the three-quarter mark for 2017 and casts its gaze towards a 29th consecutive year as Australia’s number one truck brand, Mr Ciantar said he is focused on helping the market leader develop even stronger links with businesses. “I’m going to be working hard in Victoria and Tasmania to cement productive working relationships throughout the industry that won’t just pay dividends in 2017, but will yield beneficial results for many years to come,” he said.
