JULY: TRUCK OF THE YEAR 2023

Spring has almost sprung across the country with warmer days, buzzing bees and wattle blossoms soon to be enjoyed by all. We think it’s the perfect opportunity to give our hard-working truckies and their businesses their moment in the sunshine.

This month’s Truck of the Year competition sees everything from crane trucks, trade trucks, trucks for transport and service trucks making their mark and giving our judges a cracking selection to choose from.

We are very pleased to announce July's winner is Ben Sainsbury from BHL Plant Repairs with his NPR 55-155 AMT. Ben has scored an Isuzu merchandise prize pack valued at $300 and the chance to be crowned as “King” of the N Series.

Ben Sainsbury of BHL Plant Repairs based in New South Wales is hard at work with an NPR 55-155 service truck with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) helping to tackle machinery repairs on the job site.

ECL CONSTRUCTIONS

In Victoria, Shannon Bentley has entered also entered a NPR 45/55-155 with medium wheelbase, which has been putting in the hard yards for ECL Constructions.

Blowes Electrical and Dan Blowes from New South Wales have entered this fit-for-purpose NPR 45/55-155 Servicepack X, which brings their equipment, tools and staff to site. Dan's enthusiasm for his Ready-to-Work Isuzu truck speaks for itself.

Fred Mohammed from Tranz Logistics has entered this bulletproof Isuzu FYJ 300-350 that’s been matched with a powerful Palfinger crane to create the perfect crane truck package.

TRB GAS

Down south, Greg and Tennille Smith from TRB Gas have entered this navy blue FSD 140-260 Auto LWB and have a great deal to say about their fleet's suitability for the task of delivering gas bottles around Tassie.

“As a major gas exchange delivery contractor in Tasmania, we have used Isuzu trucks for nearly two decades,” the duo said.
