MAY: TRUCK OF THE YEAR 2023
With wet weather in many parts of the country (not to mention those blustery winds and frosty nights), the Truck of the Year team have been staying toasty thanks to the hot competition coming through from our contestants.
There has been a thrilling range of Isuzu truck applications entered into the May round of Truck of the Year—from vacuum tankers to plumbing trucks and a big range of construction and civil engineering.

Each month a winner is selected to win the monthly prize, an Isuzu merchandise pack valued at $300. The winner also goes into the running to be crowned King of their truck series and have a shot at becoming the Grand Prize Winner for 2023.
The winner of the May round of Truck of the Year 2023 is Adelaide Liquid Waste Solutions with their fantastic FYH 300-350 Auto vacuum tanker! Suzanne Magro from Adelaide Liquid Waste Solutions drives away with the $300 Isuzu merchandise pack and is now in the running to be crowned King of the FY Series!

ADELAIDE LIQUID WASTE SOLUTIONS
Suzanne Magro and the Adelaide Liquid Waste Solutions team are proud as punch of their new FYH 300-350 Auto vacuum tanker.
“Our latest acquisition in our Isuzu Fleet is one very impressive unit,” said Suzanne.
“It’s signature matte grey colour along with the custom-built vacuum tank is a standout on the road. We always receive positive comments from people on how eye-catching our vehicles are.”

ROBSON CIVIL PROJECTS
Blake Robson based in Somersby New South Wales takes a lot of pride in the NQR 87-190 that does hard work for Robson Civil Projects.
“It might be the company truck, but I look after it like my own,” said Blake.
With a spotless white paint job, it's clear Blake and the Robson Civil team keep their truck looking spick and span.

BRIDGESTONE SERVICE CENTRE BACCHUS MARSH
Based at the Bacchus Marsh Bridgestone Service Centre in Victoria, Ian Barnett is a big admirer of their customised Bridgestone Isuzu truck.
The NNR 55/45-150 with AMT does double duty as a very attractive set up for Bridgestone Bacchus Marsh that is practical as well.
“This truck was purchased to work hard but look good too,” said Ian.

WHAT THE FLUSH PLUMBING
Brandon Navratil from Bringelly New South Wales entered this stunning set-up, utilised at his business What the Flush Plumbing.
With an awesome all-over wrap, plumbing decals and custom licence plate, What the Flush Plumbing’s NLR 45-150 is sure to be memorable on the road and at the job site.
“It snaps necks with people checking out the set up,” said Brandon, “It makes people smile and never goes unnoticed.”

HUGHES PLUMBING CONTRACTORS
Located in Caboolture, Queensland, it’s hard to miss this rig with black-and-blue wrap and logo emblazoned across it, working for Hughes Plumbing Contractors.
“My N Series is extremely versatile, reliable and comfortable as well,” stated Ben.
Finding a home in many applications, Isuzu’s N Series trucks are perfect for carrying all the equipment plumbers need on the job with no risk of overloading—and models like this light-duty beauty only require a standard car licence to drive.

FUTURE ENGINEERING AND COMMUNICATION
Chris Corpus from Perth entered his 2001 NPS 75-155 Crew that he puts to work at Future Engineering and Communication.
Twenty-two years young, this NPS is a hard-wearing truck with plenty of room in the crew cab for the Future Engineering and Communications team to get out into the field.

HRD BUILDERS
Reilly Hutchinson from Beaudesert in Queensland has presented this attractively wrapped NPR 55-155 Tradepack that he has working hard for HRD Builders.
“I have not spared a cent on the build,” stated Reilly.
It's clear that Reilly has invested a lot of love and careful planning into creating the perfect truck for HRD Builders.

ROJOE PTY LTD
Joseph Kalc in Diggers Rest, Victoria, has entered his 2019 FSR 140-260—a truck that goes above and beyond for his business Rojoe.
With an extra-long tray that’s hard to capture in frame, this truck is set up to make hard hauling work just that much easier.
“It's purpose built and makes my life easy,” he said.

BRADEN CRAIG FLOORING
From Broken Hill, New South Wales, Braden Craig with his self-named flooring business has an eye-catching NPR 45-155 Tradepack and trailer combo.
With in-built ladder racks, safety steps, and space for the toolbox and loads of other materials on the tray, the Tradepack’s handy features are built specifically for trade. It's certainly clear this truck has it all for Braden, including being a mobile advertisement for the business.
