[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) is pleased to announce the re-signing of acclaimed funny man, Shane Jacobson, as the Australian truck market leader’s brand ambassador for 2017. Best known for his breakout performance in the Australian hit comedy Kenny, the accomplished actor, writer and comedian’s work in 2016 proved the perfect complement to the iconic Isuzu brand. Shane brought his enthusiastic, jovial and down-to-earth nature to a number of advertising campaigns and events in 2016, and as a result, IAL aims to further expand his role this year. Shane will star in Isuzu’s 2017 Ready to Work campaign, featuring in print and digital advertising as well as television and radio commercials, highlighting the advantages of Isuzu’s popular Ready to Work pre-bodied range. Every Ready to Work model finds a home within Isuzu’s N Series range, crammed with intelligent engineering technology and able to handle just about any application out there. In re-appointing Jacobson, Isuzu has partnered these and other robust but easy-to-drive trucks with the ultimate laidback brand ambassador. These light-duty rigid trucks have the performance and payload for big jobs, yet you can still park them in your driveway at knock-off – making them the most flexible trucks on the market. There’s a model for just about every application, with class-leading engines and drivelines together with spacious, carefully designed cabin interiors for optimal performance and driver comfort. The driveability of the Ready to Work range means, like the congenial larrikin Jacobson, they appeal to every discerning tradie. IAL Director, Sales and Marketing Andrew Harbison was excited to announce Jacobson’s continued involvement. “As one of Australia’s most likeable personalities – and a gifted presenter and MC with over 25 years’ experience – Shane is the perfect face for Isuzu’s public initiatives as our brand ambassador,” Harbison said. “His engaging, yet relatable persona seems to resonate with our customers and his affable demeanour is a natural fit for the hard-working, practical Isuzu’s Ready to Work range in particular.” ends For further information, please contact: Jeff Birdseye Isuzu Australia Limited Phone: 03 9644 6666 For Isuzu Truck Releases and Photos: Arkajon Communications Phone: 03 9867 5611 Email: isuzu@arkajon.com.au
