June: Truck of the Month
To the winner for June is H&N Logistics with their smart looking twin-steer FYJ 300-350, used for bulk dangerous goods movement across Southeast Australia.
H & N Logistics
Heath Dyer entered his mighty fine FYJ 300-350 which is the backbone of the operation.
“The Isuzu FYJ twin steer is an approved bulk dangerous hauler with a 14-pallet tautliner and another 10-pallet mezzanine deck. It has tray gutters piped to stainless steel tanks for spillage in transit,” Heath said.
“There are stainless steel features throughout, with custom, 8-inch offset Armoury rims and custom toolboxes.
“The truck catches plenty of attention whether out on the road or at a truck show.”
Soil & Stone Gardening and Contracting
Soil & Stone Gardening and Contracting in South Australia’s Barossa Valley are specialists in all things gardening from residential through to commercial jobs.
After starting the business at 17 years of age, Josh Lang recently purchased his first truck, an Ready-to-Work NPR 45/55-145 Tradepack.
“This is my first new truck, which is not bad for a 21-year-old,” he said.
“We do commercial, residential, and real estate gardening, plus landscaping and block slashing services.
“I designed the signwriting and put together everything needed including a 100ah lithium battery with a 1,500-watt invertor to charge all my tools on the road. I am a very happy chappy!”
Mini Muscle Earthworks
Western Australian based Mini Muscle Earthworks is all about getting the job done with hardworking NQR Tippers.
“It is not a polished show pony…it’s a scarred-up workhorse that earns its keep,” Owner, Josh Praetz said.
“My Isuzu NQR 87-190 is covered in scratches, dents, and battle scars from years on tight job sites and rough loads.
“It hauls heavy, day-in-day-out and runs at maximum capacity every day. It cops sand, mud and general work abuse but never quits. No fluff, just fight! This truck is the muscle behind Mini Muscle Earthworks.”
