Truck of the Year: May 2025

The month of May was a big one for heavy vehicle enthusiasts with the biannual Brisbane Truck Show just wrapping-up, although Isuzu operators have also been busy showcasing their rigs as part of Isuzu’s Truck of the Year competition! 

Cool prizes on offer 

Each month a winner is selected based on their Isuzu truck and their passion for their rig, scoring an Isuzu Trucks merchandise pack valued at $300 RRP.  

The monthly winner also goes in the running to be crowned the ‘King’ of their truck Series (N, F, FX/FY) at the end of the year with a shot at the $1,500 cash prize awarded to each Series winner.

Remote OpShop Project 

In remote Australia, the road is often the only lifeline and for the Remote OpShop Project, their 4x4 N Series Crew is more than just a vehicle—it’s the heart of a blossoming movement. It’s a mobile clothing store, classroom, delivery service, supply chain solution and sometimes even a community gathering space.  

“It’s not just a truck—it’s a symbol of what happens when we meet communities where they are, and back them all the way,” said Remote OpShop’s Quentin Merckle.

Team Ando Car Transport 

When he’s not moving cars around Perth and Western Australia with his fleet of resplendent Isuzu FRR 110-260 MWB car carriers, Shane Anderson racing them flat out…sprint cars to be exact. And in that striking green, you could miss Ando even if you wanted to. 

“Picked this up from Major Motors Forrestfield,” Ando said.  

“Custom painted golden spitfire green by Perth Truck Refinishers. Custom built tray and trailer by PTE Group.”  

Uplift for Prize Packs!
