DUNIAM FREIGHT

Lisa Smith of Duniam Freight makes the most of her FVL 240-300 Freight Pack across a wide range of runs throughout Tasmania. Despite being small in stature, Lisa is big in Isuzu spirit, explaining her close connection to her truck and the brand.

“In the two years we have been together, my truck and I have covered 200,000 kilometres from Smithton to Strahan, Dover to Port Arthur, Midway Point to Cape Portland and everywhere in between,” Lisa said.

“I am just under five feet tall, but the truck has been awesome with the seating position having right up on the wheel and no skinning my knees like my male colleagues. All round it is a win win for me.

“I was given free range to pretty it up, I went with butterfly and flower decals with the one on the rear door reading ‘It’s not a job, it’s an adventure’.”

BEENAK BLOOD STOCK

In the spirit of all things spring racing, we meet Peter Stranley from Beenak Bloodstock in Lilydale (Victoria), who makes full use of his NPR 45-190 at a range equine events.

“It’s a fully customised truck which includes a heap of storage facilities for our horse gear,” said Peter.

“Of course our goose neck horse transportation ensures it’s a stand out truck at every equestrian event.”

CHISEL INVESTMENT TRUST

Christopher Holmes sent a two NPS 4x4 entry with his trucks ready for any challenge.

“These two trucks of mine are very unique, and they will go over or through any obstacle you put in front of them,” said Chris.
