Truck of the Year: September 2025

Spring has well and truly sprung, and so have some absolutely cracking entries for September! The nation's finest Isuzu trucks are rolling in and the bar has been set sky-high.

Truck of the month   

Each month, one legendary rig wins a slick Isuzu merch pack valued at $300. Simple as that.  

Become a series ‘King’  

Monthly winners then battle it out to be crowned the top dog in their class: N Series, F Series, or FX/FY Series.

From our four Series Kings, one magnificent machine will be anointed the 2025 Isuzu Truck of the Year. Cue the confetti!

September’s Truck of the Month 

This month’s honours go to the Glenapp Boys and their seriously smart NPR 650-190 Crew Cab, which is busy preserving history at the Glenapp Railway Station on the QLD/NSW border.  

Glenapp Boys 

Rob Sibson is the proud owner of this mighty NPR. A serial Isuzu devotee, Rob says his truck does everything his old ute did, "and then some!"  

This isn't just a truck, it's a rolling command centre. With a custom paint job, a unique body packed with lockers, and all the comforts of a home away from home, this rig is as practical as it is pretty.   

The tray hauls a Toro zero-turn mower or a bulk water tank, making light work of their volunteer mission.   

“The truck features a multitude of features including custom paint job and unique body with all manner of lockers containing the conveniences of a home away from home,” said Rob.

Allquip Water Trucks

Allquip Water Trucks from Rutherford in the Hunter Valley entered their mighty FYH 8x4 300-250.  

From Rutherford in the Hunter Valley, Allquip entered their beastly FYH 8x4.   

Their motto? "No expenses spared!" And it shows.   

With a genuine bulbar, slick alloy wheels and a massive 17,000-litre tank, this truck is a rolling masterpiece, complete with dazzling decals.  

O’Neill Contracting Australia  

South Australia’s O’Neill Contracting brought the style with their FYJ 300-350 tilt tray.   

Owner Benjamin O’Neill puts it perfectly, “I love the look of the truck with the cab resplendent in the company logo.” We have to agree!
