Ecocycle and its battery recycling branch, Ecobatt, are working hard to ensure Australia's spent batteries are recycled safely. They do this through the power of their recycling network, with partners such as Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings and Aldi—to name a few—providing safe collection locations before they transport surrendered batteries, e-waste and other built-in battery devices back to their processing facility.
Ecobatt’s truck fleet includes a number of Isuzu FXY 240-350 Autos and FSR 140-260s that are carefully outfitted for optimal safety. Ecocycle Group Operations Manager Jason Zorzut takes us through the trucks’ unique body builds and how Isuzu is helping the business achieve its end-goal of providing environmentally sustainable solutions for battery waste and recovery across Australia.
